    The primary purpose of the Catering Sales & Event Planner Representative is to generate sales of both drop-off and full service Catering and oversee the successful execution of these events.  This individual is responsible for ensuring that we exceed customer expectations and meet both Company and departmental objectives

We offer high quality, innovative specialty foods and fresh products, all served with exceptional customer care. 


    The Di Bruno Bros. Catering Team offers corporate and social catering for a variety of events, including engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, corporate dinners, private parties, and wine & cheese tastings. We are currently seeking on call Catering Event Servers to service our many events in the Greater Philadelphia Area.



    1. Provide superior customer service as defined by Di Bruno Bros. within the scope of the position and Company policy
    2. Effectively promote Di Bruno Bros.’ Catering services and products to maximize sales
      1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
      2. Answer incoming sales calls
      3. Travel as necessary to visit existing and potential clients in order to solicit orders
    3. Meet sales revenue and profit margin objectives as established by management
    4. Compile and maintain an accurate list of prospective clients for use as sales leads based on sources such as newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, websites and others.
    5. Maintain awareness of the merchandise available to the clients and awareness of client needs in order to make appropriate sales
    6. Quote prices and credit terms for orders obtained within Company guidelines
    7. Assist with inputting invoices
    8. Responsible for planning and execution of details dictated by client (but not limited to):
      1. Menu Consultation & Planning
      2. Site Visits & Floorplans
      3. Contract Negotiation and Preparation
      4. Onsite Management-ensuring all expectations are met by the client
      5. Ordering rental equipment and linens as necessary


    1. Coordinate additional assigned events, including but not limited to: tastings, marketing events, and corporate approved fundraisers,
    2. Ensure all event invoices are accurate and properly distributed
      1. Update invoices as needed to accurately reflect changes and modifications
      2. Ensure all events collect proper deposits, contracts & final payments
    3. Communicate event details to clients and internal team to ensure smooth event execution
    4. Assist in the investigation resolution of any customer issues or complaints
    5. Additional operational and administrative duties and projects as assigned











    • 3-5 years of prior Catering Sales experience required
    • Ability to travel frequently between business units, event locations and client meetings
    • Ability to communicate with customers, staff and colleagues
    • Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills and close attention to detail
    • Competency in Microsoft Suite
    • Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
    • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
    • Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task in stressful situations
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as dictated by business
