The primary purpose of the Dishwasher is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils and other kitchen items using machine and manual cleaning methods. This individual also ensures that the dishwashing area is kept clean, safe and sanitary.

While performing the duties of this position, the Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The Associate is required to stand for the majority of their shift and will frequently be required to walk or stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The Associate will occasionally be required to sit and climb or balance. The Associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The performance of this position requires that the Associate come into contact with co-workers regularly throughout the day. This individual will work in a hot, damp environment the majority of the day but will also be exposed to a cold environment when required to work in the walk-in freezer. Floors in all work areas are frequently slippery. This position requires that the individual’s hands be immersed in water and or soap and chemicals for more than half of their day. Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping.
Due to the nature of our industry, the performance of this position will require the individual to spend time in a facility in which he/she will be exposed, either directly or indirectly, to potential food allergens including (but not limited to): peanuts, gluten, corn, egg, fish, milk, shellfish, soy, tree nut and wheat.
