    The primary purpose of the Dishwasher is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils and other kitchen items using machine and manual cleaning methods. This individual also ensures that the dishwashing area is kept clean, safe and sanitary.




    Our Performance Expectations

    • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils both by hand and by utilizing dish washer
    • Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering
    • Set up or break down dishwashing area while following sanitation guidelines
    • Other responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, bathroom cleaning, equipment cleaning, and garbage removal
    • Assemble/disassemble dish machine
    • Communicate with coworkers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
    • Maintains the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner
    • Clean fryers, braisers and flat top griddles as directed by management
    • Notify Management any time the dish machine wash or rinse cycles fall below safety standard temperatures
    • Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines while working in the kitchen and around food products
    • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices
    • Additional duties as assigned

    • Ability to communicate clearly with Management and fellow Associates
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times throughout their shift

    The performance of this position requires that the Associate come into contact with co-workers regularly throughout the day. This individual will work in a hot, damp environment the majority of the day but will also be exposed to a cold environment when required to work in the walk-in freezer.  Floors in all work areas are frequently slippery. This position requires that the individual’s hands be immersed in water and or soap and chemicals for more than half of their day. Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping.


    Due to the nature of our industry, the performance of this position will require the individual to spend time in a facility in which he/she will be exposed, either directly or indirectly, to potential food allergens including (but not limited to): peanuts, gluten, corn, egg, fish, milk, shellfish, soy, tree nut and wheat.
