The performance of this position requires that the individual come into contact with the public, vendors and co-workers. The individual will need to work both inside the building, in the receiving area and outside when dealing with vendors and deliveries. The temperature inside the building is typically ambient, with lighting and as in a typical retail store. The receiving area changes with the seasons and can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summertime. Floors may be slippery.
