The primary purpose of the Receiver is to oversee all receiving and facility maintenance operations. This individual will oversee department personnel. This individual is responsible for ensuring that we comply with internal financial controls, exceed all safety and sanitation requirements and meet Company objectives.

While performing the duties of this position, the individual is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The individual will occasionally be required to sit and climb or balance. The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.

The performance of this position requires that the individual come into contact with the public, vendors and co-workers. The individual will need to work both inside the building, in the receiving area and outside when dealing with vendors and deliveries. The temperature inside the building is typically ambient, with lighting and as in a typical retail store. The receiving area changes with the seasons and can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summertime. Floors may be slippery.
Due to the nature of our industry, the performance of this position will require the individual to spend time in a facility in which he/she will be exposed, either directly or indirectly, to potential food allergens including (but not limited to): peanuts, gluten, corn, egg, fish, milk, shellfish, soy, tree nut and wheat.
