  • Overview


    As the Senior Buyer, you will be overseeing the purchasing for Di Bruno Bros. Wholesale Distribution Center, Retail and Ecommerce Fulfillment Facility.  The Senior Buyer will make buying decisions from demand analysis, sales trends and other sourcing strategies.  Initiating procurement partnerships and negotiating with external vendors to secure the best cost and advantageous terms.





    1. Devise and use Demand Analysis and other sourcing strategies.
    2. Negotiate Pricing and Terms with vendor partners.
    3. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
    4. Finalize and Creation of Purchase Orders.
    5. Examine and Test Existing Contracts and Rebate Programs.
    6. Track and Report on Key Functional Metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
    7. Daily and Weekly Reporting
    8. Review Shortage reports and update team on ETAs for stockouts.
    9. Invoice Discrepancy Review Process
    10. Inventory Software Maintenance and Data Integrity.
    11. Manager Monthly Inventory Process.
    12. Additional duties, as assigned.




      • 7-10 years Experience as a Senior Buyer, Procurement Analyst or Food Buyer.
      • Talent in Negotiations and Networking.
      • Good Knowledge of supplier or third-party management software, preferably with NECS Entrée.
      • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
      • Positive, friendly and professional attitude.
      • Strong sense of urgency.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
      • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, while working independently and as a team.
      • Ability to work with minimal supervision and create results from daily activity.
      • Strong presentation, communication, organization and time management skills.
      • Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation.
      Ability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business
