  • Overview

    The primary purpose of the Event Server is to aid in the seamless execution of an event for Di Bruno Bros. Catering customers. This individual is responsible for all table service duties as well as prep work and closeout tasks.  This individual will work closely with the Catering Operations team and. He/she is responsible for ensuring that we exceed customer expectations and meet both Company and store objectives.



    1. Provide strong communication amongst other team members and management amongst the need of the client.
    2. Follow through with assignments in a reasonable manner given by the event supervisor.
    3. Maintain a regular and reliable attendance record
    4. Execute event as detailed by Sales Representative; duties to include but not limited to set up for events with presentation standards and practices in mind, pass hors d’oeuvres, clear dishes and debris, maintain stations, etc.
    5. Complete event duties assigned including clearing dishware/glassware as directed, crumbing tables, and removing soiled linens if required
    6. Perform side work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment
    7. Clean, organize, and restock equipment/product returning from catering events
    8. Exceed client expectations by providing a high level of customer service.
    9. Understand and Follow Catering Event SOPs
    10. Report any issues to the event supervisor immediately
    11. Maintain high stands of safety and cleanliness
    12. Additional duties and projects as assigned



    • Minimum of one (1) year of serving experience in a restaurant or catering setting
    • General knowledge of the food and beverage industry is preferred
    • Ability to travel frequently between business units and event locations
    • Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
    • Ability to communicate with customers, superiors, and peers
    • Ability to read, write and count
    • Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task in stressful situations
    • Ability to move or handle product, orders and supplies
    • Ability to prioritize when dealing with multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business.
