Overview

The primary function of the Sales and E-Commerce Coordinator is to serve as support to sales and fulfillment teams on initiatives and efforts to drive sales within DBI E-Sales Programs.  This requires an organized, self-starter with an outgoing personality willing to jump in on special projects, as needed.

Responsibilities

CoGi/EComm (Corporate Gifting and E-Commerce):

  1. Customer Databases: Update for email & mailer initiatives.
  2. Manage and reply to all Insightly leads within 1 business day.
  3. Coordinate CoGi orders and work directly with E-Comm fulfillment.
  4. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for UPS & FedEx Same Day in relation to CoGi process.
  5. Work with Fulfillment & Procurement to create custom gift kits, per customer request.
  6. Manage inventory of Gifting Collateral and materials (inserts; gift messages; ribbons; etc.):
    • Work directly with Marketing to meet project deadlines & delivery for gifting & club builds
  7. Work with Ecommerce Business Manager to update CoGi landing page & create customer portal
    • Communicate incentives
    • Create online codes for CoGi accounts
  8. Execute quarterly Gifting promotions:
    • Spring/Admin Professional Day
    • Christmas in July
    • Holiday Sneak Peek
    • Early Order/Thanksgiving

JIT Cheese Program:

  1. Update Customer Database: Update for email & mailer initiatives.
  2. Coordinate orders and work directly with fulfillment to meet pick-up times.
  3. Work directly with Sales Manager update weekly DB Cheese Plate template and send to customers (send Thurs AM for following week availability).
  4. Run weekly reports & communicate summary results with Sales Manager, Procurement & Fulfillment.

 

Distribution Channel:

  1. Update monthly promotions & customer flyers.
  2. Run sales reports and provide summary.
  3. Update Private Label assortment master docs as, needed.
    • Manage inventory of all PL collateral.
    • Work directly with Marketing on re-orders and updates.
  4. Support as needed on purchase orders, trade shows, etc.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Provide superior customer service as defined by Di Bruno Bros. within the scope of Company policy.
  2. Maintain and update customer contact information database weekly.
  3. As an Inside Sales Representative, develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with new and existing customers.
  4. Performs administrative and recordkeeping duties such as following the appropriate SOPs.
  5. Service customers by collaboratively working with our Inside Sales and Customer Service team through all stages of the sales cycle, from first contact to shipping and final invoicing, to ensure repeat sales and positive word of mouth.
  6. Proactively analyze sales trends and be aware of opportunities or threats and strengths or weaknesses affecting growth of business.
  7. Track all activity, contacts, accounts, and opportunities; and maintain and update customer, company contacts and sales records.
  8. Places follow-up calls to customers prior to order receipt and after order receipt to ensure customer satisfaction with the process and purchase.
  9. Reports customer issues and major changes to the Sales Manager for resolution.
  10. Maintain an effort for continuous learning about Di Bruno Bros. products, programs and most importantly, what differentiates us from the competition. Attend employee workshops and seek out additional learning opportunities, when available.
  11. Participate in holiday sales activities, as assigned.
  12. Additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university and previous experience in a sales, marketing, or executive level administrative role. Exceptional candidates with equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Positive, friendly and professional attitude.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, while working independently and as a team.
  • Ability to travel independently to visit customers on-site.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding objectives and quotas.
  • Ability to increase sales in existing accounts and generate sales for new accounts.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and create results from daily activity.
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business.
