Overview

This individual is responsible for ensuring that we exceed customer expectations, communicate with our team members, and meet both Company and departmental objectives.

The primary purpose of the Customer Service Representative will be to work directly with the Di Bruno Bros. Sales Team to successfully provide superior customer service and execute all client orders by performing sales-related administrative tasks.  This individual will provide administrative support to the Sales Team and maintain strict confidentiality in regards to all Company information.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Provide superior customer service as defined by Di Bruno Bros. within the scope of Company policy.
  2. Managing in-bound communications between customers and sales team.
  3. Provide comprehensive reception and phone coverage on a daily basis, including projecting the professional image of the company via handling of all incoming phone calls, emails and faxes. Promptly distribution of messages, as needed.
  4. Communicate any customer special requests to management.
  5. Maintain/update contact lists and verify with order forms.
  6. File reports, order forms, invoices and other documents, as needed.
  7. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices.
  8. Additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of administrative experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Extremely strong attention to detail.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Previous experience using Ecommerce sales platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Quick learner and ability to grasp new software and processes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, while working independently and part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and associates at all levels.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business.
  • Friendly phone demeanor.
  • A self-starter with the capacity and energy to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with ability to organize, prioritize and problem solve will excel in this position.
  •  Interest and experience in specialty food industry is a plus!
